Music lessons –(free of charge)
The Ukraine Music Hub has been set up primarily to provide 1-2-1 and group music lessons to Ukrainians who have recently settled in the United Kingdom. Through a network of music teachers they hope to offer an opportunity for people to continue their music education free of charge wherever they are based in the country.
f you or your child enjoy singing, Kat, the leader of Vox Fresh (for children and teens) and VoxSonix (for adults) is offering a year of free membership for Ukrainians who have arrived here under Homes for Ukraine. The choirs sing contemporary songs. Classes for kids/teenagers are on Friday evenings in Central Newbury. Children of different ages are in different classes so they are among their peers. https://newbury.voxfresh.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/VoxSonix/
Learning - Open University
https://www.open.edu/openlearn/supporting-ukrainians
The Open University (OU) has launched a raft of measures aimed at helping students and Ukrainians fleeing the war and arriving in the UK.
A key part of the OU’s support package is extensive online free resources for Ukrainians on its popular platform OpenLearn, with a further free-to-learn cultural and language course being created aimed at those housing, caring for or working with Ukrainians.
